ZIP code location router for an auto parts chain

Starting point

The chain runs seven locations but had just one shared online presence. Enquiries arrived centrally and had to be passed on to the right yard by hand. Customers often did not know which location was closest to them. Time was lost, and some enquiries slipped through the cracks.

Solution

We built a location router: customers enter their ZIP code and are taken straight to their nearest yard. The enquiry is assigned to the correct location in GoHighLevel. The responsible team is notified immediately and can follow up right away. The router is embedded seamlessly in the WordPress website.

Implementation

We first mapped each location's service area as a set of ZIP codes. The input form sits on the WordPress site and is easy to use on a phone. In GoHighLevel, workflows create each contact with a location tag and route it to the right team. New locations or changed service areas can be updated without writing code.
